Our Story

Since opening in 1991, BRIan and SherWOOD have strived to find the most fresh local produce available for the best price possible. Their motto "Fresh is second to none!" embodies the foundation that Briwood was built on and is ingrained into all that work here. The owners still check produce as it arrives daily for quality and freshness and they still work on the floor, talking with customers and taking special orders. "Customers are number 1" is another Briwood motto and they set the example for employees to follow.

Being community minded, Brian and Sherwood also support a number of local minor baseball and hockey teams, as well as donations of fresh fruits and vegetables and gift baskets to numerous charities and functions in the St. Thomas area.

Girl Guides annually have a table out front of the store on Easter weekend and the Salvation Army was in this year for the Christmas season. Other local groups come in during the summer to promote their products as well.
